Obituary for Dwight D. Ellis
1952-2018
Dwight D. Ellis, 65 of Ridley Twp, Folsom, PA, died Saturday in the Crozer-Keystone Hospice in Taylor Hospital
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and the late Helen (Harn) Ellis, Sr.
During 1969-1971 he served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.
He was a retired Laborer, employed by the Spectrum and the Gypsum Co.
He loved spending time with his two grandsons. That’s what kept him going.
Predeceased by his grandson Corey Cunningham and his brother Thomas Ellis.
Survived by his children Colleen and Sean Ellis and their mother Marie Hayes.
Siblings: John (Carol), Edward (Elizabeth), William (Sharon), Patrick(Noreen) , Mark, Geraldine and Dorothy Emilio.
Grandchildren: Carey Cunningham, Jr, Christian Cunningham and Leah Ellis.
Godson Brian Ellis along with nephews, nieces and cousins
Funeral Service Wednesday 8:30 PM at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service 202 S> Chester Pk Glenolden, PA 19036 where friends may call after 7pm
.Interment and Military Honors will be held Thursday precisely 11:30 AM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA
