Obituary for Edward G "Ted" Neary Jr.

July 26, 2016 Edward (Ted; Teddy) G. Neary was called home. Ted served in the United States Navy stationed in Willow Grove, PA. After his honorable discharge from the military, he worked in the service industry as a manager in Corpus Christi, TX and then bartended in Atlantic City, NJ until his death. He enjoyed the beach, his Irish heritage, reading the newspaper, and watching his sport’s teams: Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers.

Ted is the son of the late Edward Neary and late Rose Potts Neary-Rowe. He is survived by siblings: John Neary (Kelly) of Eddystone, Tracy Neary Benson of Woodlyn, and Joseph Neary (Jacqueline) of Swedesboro, NJ. Also, survived by two daughters: Theresa Tanner (Ryan) of Marysville, OH and Alissa Portillo-Quispe (Luis) of Chantilly, VA. Ted has 5 grandchildren: Jordan, Jacob, Taylor-Ann, Niomi, and Nikolas.
A military service will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you leave memories, pictures, and send thoughts and prayers.
