Condolence: I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of my old friend. Every night, while I waited for my husband to get done, I sat with Russ, who kept me company + had me laughing for what usually turned out to be a couple hours.. I've thought of him often, and just found out I missed the chance to see him again. So sorry Gabe, and the rest of the family... He was certainly a light in alot of lives.

Condolence: Dear Sue, Gabe & family: We are so sad to hear of Russell's passing. He was truly one of the "good guys"; kind, caring and sincere. And of course, his sense of humor we will never forget! We have known him so many years, it feels as if we've lost a family member. He catered Donna's parents 50 Wedding Anniversary party, and did his usual exemplary job! Condolence: i was at the gaslight last thursday, just though i missed him, no one said anything. got a call from dave lobb, previous owner of the gas light and he told me. i was shocked. unbelievable. russell was a ton of fun. i taught him how to tend bar when he was much younger, he taught me how to play black jack. he made money, i lost money. i spent many many years at the gas light. and many many of those memories include russell. rest in peace my man!

Condolence: We're gonna really miss Russell, he was a heck of a guy. He always made everyone feel special when they came to the gaslight. We've been coming to the gaslight for more than 34 years, you guys are the reason that the gaslight is our favorite restaurant, and will continue to be. We're gonna miss Russell coming out and hanging out at our table to catch up on what's going on, and his food was always great, he was so excited when he introduced his bbq ribs to his kitchen and he always tried to push crab legs, (and they were awesome).
